STRESS FREE BUILDING PROCESS

STEP 1 - INITIAL CONSULT & DESIGN - Our FREE Initial consult includes our team discussing your requirements, taking measurements and notes. We use our many years of experience by providing suggestions on various options available to assist with keeping your project within budget. With our design software we design your bathroom and/or kitchen Free of charge. For larger projects we have teamed up with engineering’s and draftsman that share the same passion as our team.

STEP 2 - QUOTE EXPECTANCE - Once the quote has been excepted We manage all our trades personal to commence the demolition where required and commence the build. All our qualified personal share our passion, are very open and easy to communicate with, so any questions along the way we are all happy to help.

STEP 3 - PRACTICAL COMPLETION INSPECTION - This is when we together walk through the project and try to find anything that may need rectification eg. marks on walls.

STEP 4 - HANDOVER - We have a professional team of cleaners that clean your project to your satisfaction your project.

OUR GUARANTEE

Home warranty insurance is a protection for homeowners. It provides structural work for a period of 6 years 6 months from the date of completion. Non-structural Defective Work we provide a 12 month statutory warranty from the date of practical completion for non-structural defects. Guarantee on materials and electrical equipment varies from supplier/manufacturers, however this is generally between 1 to 5 years. All of our projects are fully insured with the QBCC.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I have access to the site during construction?

Absolutely you are welcome to inspect the site however when trades people are working for your safety always see the supervisor before entering the site.

After signing a contract, will the price change?

The price will only change if changes are made mid way through the build/renovation and if there is existing damage that could not be seen with the naked eye eg structural damage by moister or termites.

What is included in the price?

Making a detailed list for each builder to quote on will ensure each quote includes the same scope of work and the same materials as this can vary significantly. Things that are not included in most quotes is structural items that can’t be seen until wall or some ceiling linings are removed. eg due to moisture or termite damage.

How do I know what home design works best for me?

One main thing to consider when choosing a design is family size, and if you are having more children etc. Also consider if you like to entertain guests. Consulting your architect and visiting display homes will help in choosing design.

Will my home be energy efficient?

All new homes are required to have a 6 star energy efficiency rating. For existing homes you will see a financial gain if you invest in energy saving materials and devices eg solar panels, insulation led lighting and solar hot water.

Does your builder hold a valid licence?

ll Builders and contractors with a valid QBCC number are checked for valid licenses. To find out more about a licensee you can visit Online Licence Search. which will give you information about the type of work they do, as well as their history (any disciplinary action).

Should I buy my land before contacting a builder?

With so many plans available flat blocks can easily accommodate a design that would suite most. So if its a bargain If looking at purchasing a sloping block a builder is recommended before purchase as the build will be more expensive.

How long does it take to build a house?

Building a house will vary but generally a single story 4 bed 2 bath double garage will take approx 12 -14 weeks, double story add another 3 weeks. Things to consider is sloping blocks can add approx 2 weeks weather can also affect the build generally until the roof is completed.
